Basketball Recap: Tehachapi Beats Rosamond for Their Fourth Straight Victory + How To Watch

Tehachapi extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 7-2. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 53-49 W against the Rosamond Roadrunners. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2024.

As for Rosamond, they now have a losing record of 3-4. Roadrunners fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Tehachapi since Friday.

Rosamond lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Zymere Hopkins, who posted 14 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Washington, who earned ten points.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tehachapi will challenge Foothill at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Rosamond, they will square off against Lone Pine at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
