Softball Recap: Warrensburg Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Warrensburg duked it out with Oak Grove on Thursday. The Tigers came up short against the Panthers, falling 9-1. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Warrensburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Oak Grove, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Coming up, Warrensburg will head out on the road to square off against Pleasant Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Grove, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-0 victory against Truman on the 26th.
