Softball Recap: Cheyenne/Reydon Beats Olustee for Their Third Straight Victory

Cheyenne/Reydon put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Olustee Eagles a 15-0 shutout. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Emory Vickers made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Vickers was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBI.

In other batting news, Cheyenne/Reydon got a massive performance out of Cambree McGlothlin, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Calli Taylor, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Cheyenne/Reydon's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Cheyenne/Reydon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-1 win against Elk City on the 14th. Olustee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
