Football Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington and Jefferson squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Washington had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 42-12 loss at the hands of the Cavaliers. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Jefferson, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jefferson, they will face off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on November 7. The Cavaliers will be up against the Patriots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
