MacArthur and Eisenhower are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2018, but likely not for long. The Highlanders will face off against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for MacArthur's offense. They lost 10-0 to Duncan on Tuesday. The Highlanders have struggled against the Demons recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Edmond Memorial hit Eisenhower with a ten-run first inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 17-6.

Isabella (Bella) Musselman and Addison Tiller stepped up to the plate in a big way. Musselman went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Tiller went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamryn Knutson, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for MacArthur, their loss dropped their record down to 9-17-2.

MacArthur came out on top in a nail-biter against Eisenhower in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, sneaking past 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Highlanders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
