O'Neill extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 17-11. They blew past the Chadron Cardinals 13-2. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 contests by six runs or more this season.
O'Neill got a big performance out of Emerson Mlnarik, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs. That's the most RBI Mlnarik has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Blackburn, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
As for Chadron, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since September 13th.
On Chadron's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addisyn Gruver, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
O'Neill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Chadron has already played their next game (against Alliance), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
