Soccer Recap: Prince Avenue Christian Starts off Right with Win over Greene County

Prince Avenue Christian had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Greene County Tigers on Tuesday as the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines made off with a 5-1 win. That's more bragging rights for the Wolverines, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

They hit Greene County with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sim Tolbert (2), Joey Bunnell (2), and Tison McGuirt.

Greene County dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prince Avenue Christian will challenge Providence Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Greene County, they will square off against Washington County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
