Soccer Recap: Lower Lake Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Middletown

Lower Lake faced Middletown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Trojans came up short against the Mustangs, falling 6-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Middletown this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

This is the second loss in a row for Lower Lake and nudges their season record down to 2-10-2. As for Middletown, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7-1 record this season.
