Delphi Community proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by six) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Marquette Catholic Blazers. The victory continues a trend for the Oracles in their matchups with the Blazers: they've now won five in a row.

Brett Huffman was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Damian Briseno was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Delphi Community's win bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Marquette Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Delphi Community beat the Blazers by a score of 15-7 later that day.
