Softball Recap: Fairland's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

If Fairland was feeling good fresh off their 14-0 takedown of Afton on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Owls fell 5-1 to the Wyandotte Bears on Thursday. The match marked the Owls' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Fairland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Calli Moncada, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fairland fell to 5-1. As for Wyandotte, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.
