Soccer Game Preview: Northview vs. St. Pius X Catholic

The Northview Titans will venture away from home to take on the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Northview fell victim to Clarkston and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Angoras by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 215th, while the Angoras are ranked 23rd).

Meanwhile, St. Pius X Catholic beat Oconee County 3-1 on Saturday.

Northview has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. St. Pius X Catholic's win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Northview came up short against St. Pius X Catholic in their previous matchup back in March of 2022, falling 3-1. Can Northview avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
