Holden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Oak Grove Panthers. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-9, 25-6.

Brionna Johnson paced Holden's offense, picking up three kills. Johnson got some help from Arionna Johnson and her five assists.

Holden's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Oak Grove, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Holden will challenge Harrisonville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oak Grove, they will take on Chillicothe at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
