Soccer Game Preview: Johnson vs. Valley

Johnson is 0-8-2 against Valley since January of 2020 but things could change on Thursday. The Johnson Warriors will be playing at home against the Valley Vikings at 6:30 p.m. Johnson knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Valley likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Johnson didn't have quite enough to beat Fairfield and fell 6-5. Nala Wysinger is probably feeling rather frustrated with she team right now: they lost despite she posting four goals.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Valley's offense. They lost 3-0 to Burbank on Tuesday. Considering the last time the Vikings couldn't score was back in December of 2024, the team can't take the result too hard.

Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Johnson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
