Baseball Game Preview: Half Moon Bay Cougars vs. Aragon Dons

For the second straight game, Half Moon Bay will face off against Aragon. The Cougars will head out on the road to square off against the Dons at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Half Moon Bay will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

If Half Moon Bay beats Aragon with five runs on Thursday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Cougars' pitcher stepped up to hand the Dons a 5-0 shutout on Tuesday.

For Aragon's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keith Matye, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Matye has snagged this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Aragon and nudges their season record down to 14-9. As for Half Moon Bay, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.
