Baseball Recap: Yosemite Takes a Loss

Yosemite and Sierra squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Yosemite had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Chieftains by a score of 6-4. The Badgers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chieftains earlier this season, when they won 8-2.

Yosemite now has a losing record of 14-15. As for Sierra, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-8.

Yosemite does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sierra, they will take on Shafter at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Chieftains' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Generals have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season.
