Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Allen Park). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Edsel Ford Thunderbirds 57-0. Given the Jaguars' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 184th, while the Thunderbirds are ranked 442nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Allen Park and bumps their season record up to 5-3. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-8 Edsel Ford and 2-5 Roosevelt. As for Edsel Ford, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
