Soccer Recap: Silverado Comes Up Short

Silverado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 4-1 to the Excelsior Charter Eagles. The Hawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Silverado's goal came courtesy of Emily Perez, which was the first she's scored this season.

Silverado's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Excelsior Charter, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Silverado will challenge University Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Excelsior Charter, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Rosamond on the 7th.
