Basketball Recap: Mission Viejo Gets the Win

There's no place like home for Mission Viejo, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with an 81-80 photo finish over the Serra Cavaliers on Thursday.

The victory got Mission Viejo back to even at 1-1. As for Serra, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Mission Viejo is taking a road trip to square off against Gahr at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Serra, they will take on Granada Hills Charter in a tournament on Monday.
