Eastside had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Saturday. They came out on top against the New Haven Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. The Blazers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Bulldogs, so the Blazers were just returning the favor.

While Eastside won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 26-24.

Eastside's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for New Haven, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Eastside has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Lakewood Park Christian on the 8th. As for New Haven, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Adams Central on the 11th.
