Basketball Recap: Ann Sobrato Comes Up Short

Ann Sobrato lost against Piedmont Hills back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ann Sobrato Bulldogs lost to the Piedmont Hills Pirates at home by a 62-44 margin.

Piedmont Hills found their leader in sophomore Tayla Lee, who posted 32 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lee has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Matsushima, who had 14 points.

Ann Sobrato has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Piedmont Hills, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Ann Sobrato didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-42 loss against Westmont on the 6th. As for Piedmont Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 54-43 defeat against Leigh on the 6th.
