Soccer Game Preview: Bellflower vs. Dominguez

Bellflower and Dominguez are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2018, but likely not for long. The Bellflower Buccaneers will welcome the Dominguez Dons at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Bellflower's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Bellflower turned things around against Gahr on Tuesday. Neither they nor the Gladiators could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Buccaneers have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Meanwhile, Dominguez fell victim to Gahr and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gladiators.

Dominguez's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1. With that draw, Bellflower's record moves to 2-4-3.

Bellflower might still be hurting after the 7-0 defeat they got from Dominguez in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Bellflower avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
