Soccer Game Preview: Camarillo vs. Culver City

The Camarillo Scorpions will head out to take on the Culver City Centaurs at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Camarillo sitting on three straight victories and Culver City on 12.

Camarillo is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Diamond Ranch with a sharp 6-1 win. The Scorpions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by three goals or more this season.

Norco typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Culver City proved too difficult a challenge. They skirted past the Cougars 3-2. That's two games straight that the Centaurs have won by just one goal.

Culver City pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three contests. As for Camarillo, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.
