Softball Recap: Whitesboro Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

The Whitesboro Bulldogs beat the Fort Cobb-Broxton Mustangs 5-1 on Thursday.

Whitesboro has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-15 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.1 runs over those games. As for Fort Cobb-Broxton, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-5.

Whitesboro didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-0 loss against Kiowa on the 2nd. Fort Cobb-Broxton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
