Dylan Salazar, West Lafayette's leader in total tackles on the season, led the team again on Friday. Salazar made 17 total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last 16 games he's played dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Salazar and West Lafayette will welcome Western at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
