Basketball Game Preview: Louisville Royals vs. Harvard-Westlake Wolverines

The Louisville Royals will face off against the Harvard-Westlake Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Louisville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Louisville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Marlborough 76-62 on Wednesday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Royals' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Mustangs are ranked 41st).

Harvard-Westlake has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were outmatched by Sierra Canyon and fell 72-38.

Harvard-Westlake's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 18-5. As for Louisville, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.

Things could have been worse for Louisville, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 65-50 loss to Harvard-Westlake in their previous meeting on January 15th.
