Softball Game Preview: Walton Raiders vs. East Forsyth Broncos

The Walton Raiders will take on the East Forsyth Broncos at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Walton's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so East Forsyth's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Walton will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs last Tuesday, then bounced right back against Wheeler last Thursday. The Raiders never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, East Forsyth didn't have quite enough to beat North Oconee on Tuesday and fell 6-5. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Walton, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
