Basketball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Trinity couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the South Fayette Lions by a score of 26-23 on Wednesday. The game marked the Hillers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Trinity moved to 17-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for South Fayette, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 23-1.

Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Fayette, they will square off against Baldwin on Saturday.
