Eastwood waltzed into their contest on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Franklin Cougars by a score of 3-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory back in September.

Eastwood had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-19.

Eastwood's win bumped their record up to 31-6. As for Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 22-15.

The future could be bright for both Eastwood and Franklin: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Troopers will look to extend Pebble Hills' three-game losing streak when they meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Franklin will try to hand Socorro their seventh-straight defeat when the two meet at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday.
