Soccer Recap: Bacon County Falls to Toombs County in First Game of Season

Bacon County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Toombs County Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 6-0. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 6-1 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bacon County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Berrien at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st. As for Toombs County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Jeff Davis at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th.
