Baseball Recap: Monument Mountain Comes Up Short

Monument Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Pittsfield Generals, falling 7-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Generals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 on Saturday.

Monument Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Pittsfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Monument Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pittsfield, they will challenge Frontier Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
