Softball Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

Lakeside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 13-1 to the Eastside Eagles.

Lakeside saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Porter Bemiss, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Lakeside now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Eastside, the win keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Coming up, Lakeside will welcome Woodward Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the War Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Eastside, they will venture away from home to take on Seckinger at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
