Germantown dropped down to 4-3 on Wednesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. The contest between the Red Devils and the Memphis Central Warriors didn't end well, with the Red Devils falling 55-40. The game marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

As for Memphis Central, they pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. The final result isn't all that surprising considering their considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while Germantown is ranked 185th).

It was another big night for Alarin Polk, who posted 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlos Fitzgerald, who scored 12 points.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Germantown will square off against Oakhaven at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Memphis Central, they will be home for the holidays to greet Harding Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
