Softball Recap: Sandy Creek Takes a Loss

Sandy Creek lost against LaGrange back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots lost 20-3 to the Grangers. The matchup marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Sandy Creek's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for LaGrange, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Sandy Creek will challenge Spalding at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for LaGrange, they will square off against Callaway at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Cavaliers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.4 runs per game on average), something the Grangers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
