Preview: Bradford Owls vs. Port Allegany Gators
Bradford is 0-6 against Port Allegany since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Bradford Owls will be playing at home against the Port Allegany Gators at 7:15 p.m. Bradford has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Bradford suffered their biggest defeat since December 8, 2023 on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 54-34 walloping at the hands of DuBois. Bradford has not had much luck with DuBois recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Meanwhile, Port Allegany was able to grind out a solid victory over Coudersport on Friday, taking the game 41-32. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Port Allegany.
Port Allegany got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kayleigha Dowell out in front who scored 16 points along with four steals. Ella Moses was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Bradford's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-9. As for Port Allegany, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
