Basketball Recap: Pennsbury Piles Up the Points Against New Foundations

Pennsbury was handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against New Foundations on Saturday. The Pennsbury Falcons breezed by New Foundations to the tune of 40-6. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while New Foundations are ranked 313th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pennsbury's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for New Foundations, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Pennsbury will head out to take on Harry S. Truman at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pennsbury is facing Harry S. Truman at the right time seeing as Harry S. Truman is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for New Foundations, they will challenge Kohelet Yeshiva at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. New Foundations will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Kohelet Yeshiva will have lost three straight heading into Tuesday's game.
