Football Game Preview: St. Luke's Episcopal Wildcats vs. Chickasaw Chieftains

The St. Luke's Episcopal Wildcats will challenge the Chickasaw Chieftains at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Luke's Episcopal is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

St. Luke's Episcopal came up short against Clarke County on Friday, falling 36-14.

St. Luke's Episcopal didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Brantley Weed, Henry Thompson, and Jathan Richardson picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, after only eight points in their last contest, Chickasaw made sure to put some points up on the board against Bayshore Christian on Thursday. The Chieftains took down the Eagles 33-14.

Chickasaw's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5. As for St. Luke's Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-5.

Everything went St. Luke's Episcopal's way against Chickasaw when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as St. Luke's Episcopal made off with a 22-0 win. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chieftains turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
