Softball Recap: Sperry Takes a Loss

Sperry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-4 to the Kiefer Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in August.

Sperry's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Kiefer, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 25-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Trojans beat Sperry by a score of 12-4 later that day.
