Softball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Underwood hit Lincoln with a four-run second inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Lynx lost 8-0 to the Eagles. The Lynx were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in June of 2024.

Lincoln saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Adler, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Lincoln's defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Underwood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-19.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln will host Bishop Heelan Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Underwood, they will take on Woodbury Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
