Baseball Recap: Independence Takes a Loss

Independence fell victim to Centennial and their airtight pitching crew on Sunday. They lost 10-0 to the Stars. The 76ers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Independence saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luis Romero- Orellana, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases. The 76ers are 4-1 when Romero- Orellana posts two or more stolen bases, but 6-8 otherwise.

Independence's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Centennial, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Independence nor Centennial have any future games scheduled.
