Baseball Game Preview: Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes vs. West Hall Spartans

The Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes are taking a road trip to challenge the West Hall Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Monroe Area is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, West Hall fell victim to Jefferson and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Dragons, falling 6-0. The Spartans have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

West Hall got a good showing from Jack Lemoine, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Lemoine also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because West Hall is 2-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-10 otherwise.
