Baseball Recap: Tucker Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Tucker's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Lakeside Vikings on Saturday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Tucker's defeat dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Lakeside, their record now sits at 15-8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tucker will welcome North Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.72 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lakeside, they will be playing at home against Decatur at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
