Baseball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy

Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 12) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Oglethorpe County Patriots 2-1. While Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Mason Odom spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cole Bullock, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
