Basketball Game Preview: Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers vs. Forest Hills Rangers

After both having extra time off, the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers and the Forest Hills Rangers will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Hollidaysburg has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Hollidaysburg is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to Clearfield for the full four quarters, racking up an 88-50 victory. The Golden Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 26 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Forest Hills came up short against Bishop McCort last Friday and fell 64-52. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Crushers are ranked 35th).

Hollidaysburg's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Forest Hills, their loss ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-3.

Hollidaysburg couldn't quite finish off Forest Hills in their previous matchup back in February and fell 46-44. Can Hollidaysburg avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
