Softball Recap: Centaurus Takes a Loss

Centaurus dropped down to 21-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 12-0 to the D'Evelyn Jaguars. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Warriors, who until this matchup were averaging 3.42 runs allowed.

Centaurus saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylie Lavender, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

As for D'Evelyn, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.3 runs.

On D'Evelyn's side, Macie Allen was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases Allen has posted since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Giddens, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs.

As of now, neither Centaurus nor D'Evelyn have any future games scheduled.
