Basketball Recap: Damien Drops Season-High Score on Roosevelt

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Damien). They walked away with a 69-61 victory over the Roosevelt Rough Riders on Wednesday. The Monarchs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rough Riders, too.

The win got Damien back to even at 2-2. As for Roosevelt, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Damien has already played their next contest (against McKinley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Roosevelt, they will face off against Campbell at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
