Columbus heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Thursday. They fell 5-1 to Crisp County.

Columbus saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Axel Serra, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Crisp County pushed their record up to 15-19 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Columbus, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-16.
