Soccer Recap: Jackson's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Jackson fought the good fight in their overtime game against Pike County on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Pike County this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in March.

Roland Lynch and Jared Davis scored both of Jackson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Jackson's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for Pike County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Jackson has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Locust Grove on the 3rd. As for Pike County, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Morgan County on the 4th.
