Moberly is 7-2 against Marshall since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Spartans will challenge the Owls at 7:00 p.m. Marshall took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Moberly, who comes in off a win.

Moberly took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They breezed past Fulton to the tune of 56-14. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 35-14 to Kirksville.

Moberly's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Marshall, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Moberly against Marshall in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 42-8 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
