Flag Football Game Preview: Boulder Creek Jaguars vs. Red Mountain Mountain Lions + Official Tickets

Two dominant signal callers in Sophia Coffman and Korey Roberts are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Boulder Creek Jaguars will be playing at home against the Red Mountain Mountain Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Boulder Creek 4.3, Red Mountain 2) so any points scored will be well earned.

Boulder Creek is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Mesquite, who was ranked 20th at the time (Boulder Creek was ranked 17th). The Jaguars won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Wildcats 7-6.

Meanwhile, Red Mountain strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They enjoyed a cozy 22-7 win over Mountain Ridge. The 22-point effort marked Red Mountain's lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Boulder Creek's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Red Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.

Boulder Creek took a serious blow against Red Mountain in their previous matchup back in August of 2023, falling 42-6. Thankfully for the Jaguars, Sierra Mellish (who threw for 253 yards and five touchdowns, and also punched in one TD on the ground) won't be suiting up this time.
