Augusta E is 8-2 against Coastal HomeSchool since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Augusta E Eagles will head out to square off against the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes at 12:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Friday, Augusta E came up short against Augusta Christian and fell 8-5.

Augusta E saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Reese, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Josh Johnson was another, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Coastal HomeSchool didn't have quite enough to beat The Habersham School on Thursday and fell 10-9. The Hurricanes haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Burke Sullivan was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.

Augusta E's record now sits at 0-2. As for Coastal HomeSchool, their record is now an identical 0-2.

Augusta E skirted past Coastal HomeSchool 8-7 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Augusta E since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
